What is in one serving of Electrolyte?
Sodium
from Celtic sea salt
Sodium is what you lose most through sweat, and on low carb, keto or carnivore the kidneys excrete more of it on top of that. The 900 mg per serving are designed for exactly this increased loss.
- From unrefined Celtic sea salt
- By quantity the largest electrolyte in the drink
Potassium
from cream of tartar powder
An animal based diet quickly leaves a gap in potassium. That is why we set it at 300 mg, clearly higher than most blends. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system.*
- From natural cream of tartar (potassium bitartrate)
- A natural, readily bioavailable form
Magnesium
from marine Aquamin™
Instead of a salt isolated in a lab, we take magnesium straight from seawater, along with over 70 natural trace minerals. In a readily soluble citrate form that the body absorbs better than magnesium oxide. Magnesium contributes to normal electrolyte balance and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.*
- From seawater, not synthesised in a lab
- Over 70 natural trace minerals from the sea

WHAT IS NOT IN IT.
-
ZUCKER
Common carrier substance in industrial powders and pastes. Not an ingredient in our product.
-
SWEETENERS
Neither stevia nor sucralose nor erythritol is included. Sweeteners simply have no place in a pure electrolyte preparation.
-
MALTODEXTRIN
Maltodextrin is a cheap bulking agent with no electrolyte function, which in many powders only makes the powder flow better. It is not in here.
-
FLAVOURINGS
No natural or artificial flavorings. The powder contains exactly what it says on the label and tastes accordingly direct and unadulterated.
-
FILLERS
No silicon dioxide, no calcium phosphate and no other fillers. Every gram in the pack has a concrete, measurable function.
Everything you probably still want to know:
Effects
Can I take the Electrolyte Mix while fasting?
Yes, that is in fact one of the most common uses. While fasting the body takes in no electrolytes from food, and at the same time it keeps excreting them. The Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix is calorie free and contains no sugar, so it does not break a fasting phase and helps to avoid exhaustion and headaches during the fast.
Does the Electrolyte Mix help with sport as well?
Yes. During sport, especially intense training or in the heat, the body loses considerable amounts of sodium, potassium and magnesium through sweat. The Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix is ideal as a sports drink: simply dissolve one serving in 1 litre of water and drink before, during or after training.
Why does your product contain more potassium than most other electrolytes?
Many manufacturers still follow outdated recommendations from 2011, which set a daily intake of only 2000 mg of potassium. Since 2016, however, the DGE has recommended 4000 mg per day, and the Institute of Medicine (USA) even 4700 mg. Even 1 kg of raw meat delivers only around 3200 mg of potassium on average. On animal based diets this quickly creates a supply gap. The Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix was deliberately built around these current recommendations.
Which three electrolytes matter most on keto and carnivore?
Sodium, potassium and magnesium. Sodium regulates fluid balance and blood pressure. Potassium is essential for muscle and nerve function and for heart rhythm. Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic processes, among them energy production, muscle relaxation and sleep quality. The Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix contains all three in a readily bioavailable form.
What is keto flu and can your Electrolyte Mix help?
Keto flu describes symptoms such as exhaustion, headaches, dizziness and muscle cramps that can occur in the first days of a ketogenic or carnivore diet. The cause is almost always a lack of electrolytes, because during the changeover the body excretes particularly large amounts of sodium, potassium and magnesium. A daily serving of Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix supplies the body with these three minerals.
Why do I need extra electrolytes on a keto or carnivore diet?
On low carbohydrate diets the body excretes noticeably more sodium, because insulin levels stay low and the kidneys hold back less sodium. As a result the body also loses potassium and magnesium faster. The result: fatigue, headaches, muscle cramps and trouble concentrating, often described as "keto flu". Targeted electrolyte supplementation makes up for these losses.
How to use
Can I drink it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Carnivoro Electrolyte is a pure mineral preparation with no additives. During pregnancy and breastfeeding we generally recommend speaking briefly with a midwife or a doctor before starting any new routine.
Can I mix it with other drinks?
Yes. The Natural powder is neutral in taste and stirs easily into water, sparkling water or other drinks. It also works well with a squeeze of lemon. The Forest Berries version tastes best with still or sparkling water.
Can I take more than one serving a day?
The stated recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet. If your needs are higher (for example intense sport, heavy sweating), it is best to speak with a doctor.
Can I take the Electrolyte Mix every day?
Yes. The Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix is made for daily use, especially on keto, carnivore and low carb diets, where the need for sodium, potassium and magnesium stays permanently higher. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
When is the best time to take it?
Best to start in the morning and drink the electrolyte drink spread across the day. It is particularly effective during exercise (before and during training), during fasting phases and after waking, when the body is to be supplied with minerals again after the night.
How do I take the Electrolyte Mix?
Simply dissolve the daily serving in 1 litre of water and drink it spread across the day.
Natural: 1 level serving spoon (4.5 g)
Forest Berries: 2 level serving spoons (6 g)

Why does Natural contain no sweeteners at all?
Carnivoro stands for unaltered, natural products. Many sweeteners such as stevia, xylitol or erythritol can affect blood sugar, which is unwanted on keto and carnivore. Some cause digestive discomfort in sensitive people. The neutral taste of the Natural powder can be adjusted to your liking, for example with a squeeze of lemon.
Does the product contain sugar or sweeteners?
Natural: completely without sugar and without any sweeteners (not even natural ones such as stevia or erythritol).
Forest Berries: no sugar, no artificial sweeteners. Sweetened with monk fruit, a natural, calorie free sweetener with no effect on blood sugar.
What is the difference between Natural and Forest Berries?
Both versions share the same mineral base of Celtic sea salt, cream of tartar and Aquamin magnesium.
Natural is completely neutral in taste and contains no flavourings or sweeteners. Ideal for anyone who prefers their electrolyte drink plain or likes to flavour it themselves. Per pack: 180 g, approx. 40 servings.
Forest Berries also contains natural forest berry flavouring and monk fruit, with no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Per pack: 150 g, approx. 25 servings.

Origin & quality
Who is the Carnivoro Electrolyte Mix for?
The product is particularly suited to people eating ketogenic, carnivore or low carb, and to anyone who wants to support their mineral intake naturally during sport or in everyday life. It is free from sugar, fillers, flavour enhancers and preservatives.
What is Celtic sea salt?
Celtic sea salt is traditionally harvested by hand from seawater in Brittany, France. It is grey and slightly moist because it is not heated to high temperatures or chemically treated. This keeps its natural mineral traces intact. Carnivoro uses Celtic sea salt as an unprocessed source of sodium.
What is cream of tartar and where does the potassium in it come from?
Cream of tartar (potassium bitartrate) is a naturally occurring byproduct of winemaking. It contains natural potassium in a form the body can absorb well, without being chemically produced or synthetically altered. Carnivoro uses cream of tartar powder as a clean, natural source of potassium.
What is Aquamin magnesium and why do you use it?
Aquamin™ is a marine magnesium taken directly from seawater. Over 70 natural trace minerals from the sea are kept intact in the process. It comes in a readily soluble citrate form that the body absorbs better than magnesium oxide. We use it because it is minimally processed and particularly well tolerated.
It doesn't get more natural than this.
